Hell House
As far as I know right now (which is little), 'Hell House' , as it has been
dubbed for some reason is an abandoned Catholic Boys School.
Currently, the building is being torn down, after a fire gutted it, and surrounding grounds.
Hell House is located on Illchester Road (Ellicott City, Maryland) near the Patuxent State Park, the abandoned Illchester Road Viaduct (where the Dory's Child poem is located).

The surrounding grounds, still hold some intact buildings, but more are being torn down daily. Behind the school, there is a garage/house, with car and car parts, living accessories still there. There is also a car port, with a generator on it. A stairway in the middle leads to a basement where a homeless person has been staying, complete with heroin needles. This has just been torn down.
The Greenhouse is still pretty, just overgrown. Statues of the saints are still located here and there through the woods, and a small stone house is there too.

Hell House Hauntings
This is one of the few stories that I have been able to dig up on Hell House. The story has to do with female deaths, and since as far as I can find, it was a boy's school this story most likely is pure local fiction. Judge for yourself.
An old priest in a bout of insainity hung five girls facing each other in the points of the pentagram, and then shot himself. According to local documents, the murder is true, but exact details vary. Rumor has it that an old man guarded the school with rubber bullets, and guard dogs. (Has anyone thought that he may be the caretaker, not a demented ghost?) Sightings include an old priest with a bloody hands, an old priest with a large wooden spoon, and disemboweled girls walking about screaming.
When I finally dig up information on the School I will post it, in a more orderly manner.
